Mono mono twins?

At 6 weeks I had my first ultrasound. The doctors looked very closely and said they think it's mono mono twins, I have another appointment at 8 weeks to see if it actually is. Has anybody else had this problem?

These were mine at 9 weeks--looked mono mono but had another US done at 13 weeks and they definitely have a membrane! Little mono dis are 18 weeks now 😊

I had my 5th ultrasound yesterday and until then they thought my babies were mo/mo. Turns out they ate mono/di!

Just for reference, this was my u/s at 9w6d, and at 13w1d they told me they found an amniotic sac dividing them :) hopefully yours is just hard to see like mine was!

mine are mono/mono also. i have an appt wednesday to confirm (i'll be 12w6d)  they are already almost 100% sure though, just want to make sure. good luck,

I got in at 12w to see if mine are mono/mono as well

My membrane didn't show until 12 weeks. Don't stress. It's more common to find a membrane than not :)

Mine are di/di but I've read on here several moms who have had to go back to check for a separating membrane with their twins. It can be so very tiny & hard to see. So it's pretty common. Congrats on your babies!
