Karyotype test - IVF

I have had 3 miscarriages after 1 successful uncomplicated pregnancy. Everything we had tested came back normal, until finally my husbands karyotype test showed an inverted piece of his 22nd chromosome which is likely what had caused our recurrent miscarriages.

We were told we had basically a 50/50 shot.. meaning the normal 22nd chromosome could pass on during reproduction and we’d have no issues like we ironically did with our first pregnancy, or the inverted piece could pass on causing another miscarriage. Luck has not been on our side since we’ve now had more unsuccessful than successful pregnancies.

Our next option is to keep trying on our own or to move forward with IVF to not implant any embryos with the inverted chromosome. I’m so torn. We want another baby so bad and did not see this coming. I also don’t want to go through the physical and emotional pain of another miscarriage. Has anyone been through IVF after a successful natural pregnancy? Or anyone have advice in general?
