Unisom and grogginess??

Question

Do any of you take Unisom for insomnia? How sleepy does it actually make you? Does it make you groggy the next day? I have SUCH bad insomnia but I also have my 6 month old to take care of so I don’t want anything interfering with that of course. TIA!

I took it during my first pregnancy & it didn't make me groggy in the morning

I take half most nights, but even when I take a whole pill, I still am able to wake up if my dogs need out in the middle of the night. The next day I’m usually just fine, aside from the general fatigue of being pregnant.

It only made me a bit groggy the first day or two after I started, then I was fine

It does nothing for me. Ill fall asleep when i take it but then im up almost every hr through the night 😫 no effect next day
