I’m 34 and 3 days today and I started having contractions. I left work early because I didn’t feel right and I went home to take a nap. About 30 mins later I was woken up because my whole body was hurting. I tried taking a bath to soothe my pain but it didn’t help so I called labor and delivery. They advised that I go in to get checked so I immediately called my fiancé so he could drive me. When I got there they started monitoring my contractions and checked to see if I was dilated. I was having irregular contractions and I was only at a 1 so they gave me a shot and an iv to stop my contractions. Lemme tell you this was probably the scariest thing that’s happened during my pregnancy🙄 I’m finally home and rested. We will see how the next few weeks go for me!
