Does your SO help out with the baby at night?

Nope. His excuse is he doesn't hear the baby monitor 🙄😒
I haven't gotten to sleep in since he was born March 13th.

I breastfeed but my husband is always willing to help, if I need him. We have a 2.5 year old who wakes up in the middle of the night on occasion and he’ll hold baby or deal with the toddler. He’ll change the baby’s diaper if he needs it, or run for water for me, if I forgot, etc. He wakes pretty easily and offers help and doesn’t get upset if I wake him for something. We have seven kids... without his help, I wouldn’t have so many. lol

My husband has been great in that department. He gets up with her and checks/changes  her diaper and keeps her settled (or at least tries lol) while I attempt to wake up (pee lol) make it to the nursery

My Beloved would love to help at night, but Beloved does not lactate and Beloved has Primary Progressive MS. One of the ways we keep the MS under control is making sure Beloved gets enough sleep.
So my little sister has moved in to be a live in mother's helper for the next year or so.

He works night shifts so when he’s off he’ll get up with the baby but we breastfeed so there’s not much he can do

Yep. We give pumped milk at night. He takes the baby from 145am until 530am when he has to go to PT. Then he takes the baby at 7am until 8am when he get back from PT and then has to go to work. This was i can get a couple hours of good sleep. On the weekends i get to sleep in until my boobs kill lol

no, theres no need for him to. I nurse and co sleep. my son practically sleeps all night.
