Does anyone?

Question

Have a newborn that refuses to sleep anywhere but on you??? If so what have you done to get them to sleep in a crib/bassinet/pack n play??

I'd always nurse my daughter to sleep, wait until I could tell she was in a deep sleep, then put her in her pack  'n play. She eventually got used to sleeping in it and now at 3.5 months, I can usually put her in it while still awake and she'll kick her legs and "talk" herself to sleep. If she does cry, I'll nurse for a bit until she falls asleep then put her down. It works for us!

Mine was great sleeping in the newborn part of her bassinet/pack n play. And then she outgrew that....and things went downhill. She'll only sleep on me or right next to me at almost 7weeks old. She won't take a soother yet, but I'm trying a new kind tomorrow. I'm hoping a full belly, swaddling(she hates), and a soother might turn the tables.... I'm following to hear other tips!

This was our problem the 1st week. Now we are doing better going into week 2- I put him in his crib as soon as he falls asleep on the breast, I swaddle both arms down, and I put a little hat on him to keep him warm. Usually 1x/night I have to get up again in about 5 min and rock him to sleep again (keep him in swaddle) and then re-place in crib. I'm getting so much better sleep without worrying about him rolling off me!

The first month was great... this last week my son WILL NOT SLEEP ANYWHERE BUT ON ME!!! Actually right now he  is sleping on me. As soon as I put him down he screams!!!! But he is also colicky....
