What was your first sign of miscarriage?

During my first pregnancy my first sign was spotting and then a week or so later I lost all pregnancy symptoms. This current pregnancy my hcg has stopped doubling and I will most likely miscarry again. I'm 7w2d today and I wont know for sure until my first appointment on Thursday. I'm not cramping nor am I spotting or bleeding, but my breasts dont hurt as bad as a few days ago. What happened to you first when you miscarried?

All I had was brown discharge, then it turned bright red within a few days

My water broke, I went to the ER and they refused to do an ultrasound, but could hear the heartbeat so they said that I had just peed myself and sent my home. I was having contractions and everything. I woke up the next morning bleeding and went back to the ER, where they then confirmed the miscarriage and sent me home. Then the next day, the bleeding was so intense and the pain was so bad I was screaming. Went back to the ER and they finally gave me meds to get the labor moving faster and Percocet for the pain. I was there for like 15 hours before I passed it and they allowed me to go home. All while we were hit by a hurricane and lost the roof to our home and just about everything we owned. The most horrible thing I've ever gone through.

I got my blazing BFP Thursday (refused to accept the possibility I was pregnant), started barely spotting very late Friday night, and was told by the on-call to go to the ER if it didn't stop Saturday. When I woke up for work at 6pm, I was bleeding slightly heavier, so I headed to the ER, which was packed so it took a long time for them to see me. While still waiting, they had me pee in the cup and when I wiped, there was a lot of mucusy discharge. By the time they got me in an exam room and had me change, I was nearly hemorrhaging blood. I literally bled all over the exam room.

I felt intense cramping. I was 8 weeks. It was so bad I couldn’t walk or sit up or anything. I started the bleeding the next day.

Severe pain was my first sign. I remember waking up in the middle of the night with severe back pain. I took some Tylenol and the Tylenol didn't do anything so I paced around the room for 2 hours because it hurt too bad to lay down. A couple of days later all my symptoms disappeared. A day or two after that I woke up to some fairly bad menstrual like cramping. My husband and I had sex and the cramping after sex was really intense. That night I started spotting brown. The  next morning I woke up to red bleeding. It was a Friday and on Monday I had an ultrasound to confirm a complete natural miscarriage.

Had brown spotting for about 8 hours, very light but still had drops fall into the toilet. Then it turned to red blood with clots. Happened the same way with both my miscarriages
