How old would you let your daughter get her ears pierced?

When she/he asks for it, and understand the concept of cleaning it.

My mom always told me that was something I could do when I turned 8, it was something I really looked forward to, and by then I was old enough to take care of them myself. I'll do the same for my daughter (If I ever have one).

Whenever she asks for them. I believe I got mine done when I was 3

Around 6 probably and only if they asked for it. That is when I had mine done for my birthday and it was because I asked for them and consented knowing full well the whole process.

I don't have kids yet, but my parents let me get mine pierced when I was 8. Although, I've had them pierced 2 times after that and forced a piercing earring through them when they grew over a third time
