What kind of milk will you start your baby on?

At 12 months will you start your baby on milk?

If so what kind? My cousins daughter hates whole milk, so she gives her almond milk. My sister in law has our nephew on whole milk, his pediatrician had him start that at 11 months.

My son doesn’t take a bottle, nor will he. My pediatrician just said to give it in a sippy cup.

Anyways I guess I’m just trying to get ideas on what you guys will be doing

Honestly if you are breastfeeding there is no need to feed your baby cows milk or any alternative. If you’re trying to wean that’s be different and I have heard from other mamas almond milk is easier because it tends to be sweeter like mama milk. Otherwise keep feeding your baby!! The WHO recommends breastfeeding until age 2 ❤️

Probably breast milk and when I sense he’s ready I’ll eventually switch him over to organic non-gmo cow milk...maybe a little of both till he’s 18 months

Following. We haven’t made a decision yet, and I am thinking of breastfeeding as long as she wants or through the next cold and flu season.

Cows milk but if I had to choose and alternative it would be pea milk because it has the most nutrients. Most alternative milks are “empty” children/babies/toddlers need the most nutrient dense foods.

My first born she was on whole milk and made her so constipated so when it’s time for my son to be on one i put him on soy milk, this baby i don’t know yet and dredding it since we had issues with formulas and it took us 5-6 cans of different formula until we found Alimentum that won’t upset his tummy and that he won’t projectile vomit. So i’m scared on how he will react to whole milk 😩

Following! “Live real farms” brand just came out with dairy/nut milk blends that I’m curious about 🤔 they are supposed to be creamy like traditional cows milk but taste more like a nut milk. They’re all lactose free as well. Not sure the nutritional value mixing them offers though. Anyways, I think when we are done breastfeeding (I’m hoping at a year) we will do whole milk and nut milks here and there. I don’t think humans need cow milk because we aren’t cows lol, but it does have the most fat/ nutrients that babies need.
