Cerclage questions

I saw my specialist yesterday and she went over my history .she recommend I get a cerclage put in to a oid going into preterm labor like i did last time.she explained the risk and everything. I'm wondering how after care is and how long are people able to carry the baby to? Has anyone had one and went to term.i understand every case is different but I'm just wondering is all.i wanna do anything i can to keep the baby in there .any tio or suggestion for aftercare or remainder of pregnancy is highly appreciated.
