Currently our 6 month old is in our room and sleeps in the pack and play.

Our 2 year old has the crib that turns into the toddler bed but we are buying her her own twin size bed for her 3rd birthday this weekend.

My questions are this:

Was it hard for them to share rooms at first?

Our 6 month old still wakes in the middle of night several times, how did you all go about this with room sharing with a sibling?

And tips on this transition or what to expect?
