Burning contractions?

Did anyone have contractions that felt more like burning/stinging than menstrual cramps? I've been feeling a burning pain across in my lower abdomen on and off all day. Not sure if this is normal for 37+2.

So I asked my doctor today and she told me it is probably because baby is dropping and stretching out my lower abdominal muscles and that's what's causing the burning.

I have this too. Sometimes it's like period cramps other times it's like burning across my entire abdomen all the way up to my ribs and it's hard to breathe with those

I have an appointment tomorrow so I'll ask my OB and see what they have to say about it, hasn't happened again today, yet.
