According to my husband his only job as a father is providing our son with diapers and wipes and formula and clothes. He says he doesn't have to help me when he is home. He says my job is to fully care for our son while he relaxes and plays video games. He is 33 years old. I have no family close by. He doesn't even help on his days off. I tried refusing to do anything for him and he still didn't do anything. In his mind he is the provider and I'm the caretaker. He thinks it's the same way in other households as well.
