To start this off, I am 17 and currently a senior. When I was in 3rd grade, my parents spilt, causing me to separate from all of my friends that I grew up with. I only moved to the other side of town, but it still felt like 1,000 miles away.

Recently, I went to an event that consisted of all the cheerleaders from our nearby Highschools. While I was there, I was approached by 2 girls and asked me if my name was “********” and if I went to “*******” Elementary. I told them yes, and I asked what their names were. Turns out, one of the girls was my bestfriend. SINCE PRE-K.

We exchanged numbers, and we all began texting. We made a group chat, but eventually only me and my old bestfriend just texted alone, in a separate chat. We decided to go through our yearbooks, and see who else we could reconnect with!

I asked her, “Do you remember ******?” And she did, and she had a crush on him, just like me. She ended up finding his instagram, and messaged him. He remembered me since we were like bestfriends, but didn’t remember her lol. We all made a groupchat and ended up finding more people. It was so fun!

He was so handsome now. And he only lived two cities away from me, 30 min. We started messaging until 2am, and falling asleep on the phone. He told me how he missed me so much and how he kind of has feelings for me.

This whole thing has been crazy. I just wanted to let it out ❤️
