Does anyone know of any shelters or resources for women in need of housing? My mother has lost her job which was a job that allowed her to live on site. She lives in central florida(Orlando area) I’m in pa and am unable to help. She doesn’t have any minor children it’s just her and her emotional support dog. Ideally I’d like to see her go to a psychiatric center for help with other issues. She’s had a lot of bad luck since divorcing my dad and has gotten into unfortunate situations and is really on hard times right now. She’s feeling worthless and like she just can’t take life anymore. I’m unable to fly her to where I live and even if I could my landlord won’t allow her to stay for previous issues when we had her stay here in the past. She’s currently staying at my grandmothers but it’s a 55 and older community and she isn’t able to stay there longer than a week. If anyone knows of any resources in the Orlando Florida area please share them in the comments .
