okay everyone i’m having a bit of a problem.

my step son is 6 and going into 1st grade this year. recently when ive heard him playing he’s been talking about killing. (this didn’t start till he started school) i don’t think it’s totally abnormal, but obviously not an okay way to play. i don’t think he understands what “killing someone” means. me and his mom have been communicating about how to handle it, but i was hoping someone might have some ideas on how to really reinforce that saying things like that aren’t okay. i’ve talked to him about it, but he said something very inappropriate yesterday to a child and this needs to be nipped in the bud asap. thanks!
