Traveling tips? Driving alone with baby

Question

It would be about 5 hours. Baby will nap the first half. I plan to stop halfway for a stretch/feed/change etc., but once we get back on the road he'll be wide awake and start crying. 
The last time I took this trip he had shorter wake windows so it didn't take long for him to fall back asleep.
Any tips or advice?

Make sure there’s good airflow to your back seat, maybe even a fan (mounted somewhere baby can’t reach but can feel the airflow) 
Play music your baby enjoys, or sing/talk to them to keep them entertained 
Use shades on the windows (the kind that cling to the window or the “sleeve” that goes over the whole top of the door) to make sure they don’t get cranky from the sun in their eyes. 
Have a couple soft toys or teething toys, on tethers if possible so they can’t be thrown. Or have a lot of toys in the front seat so you can keep hanging baby a new one each time a toy is thrown lol. 
Consider leaving when baby first wakes up (up for the day or up from first nap) so he/she is awake the first part of the drive and sleeps the second half. The tend to be more tolerant early in the drive and can more likely entertain themselves the first half than the second. 
If you do stick with nap for the first half, consider taking a longer break half way so you burn up half of baby’s awake time outside of the car during your stop.

Tie toys to the car seat so he can get them easier. You might down load some baby sensory videos on your tablet if you have one. Tv isn't great for them, but it might calm him down and watch them instead of screaming. A fan to cook him, and a mirror mounted on the seat so you can see him.
