My almost 3 year old was pretty disinterested or negative about the pregnancy for the first few months. I kind of stopped mentioning it but lately she seems to be warming to the idea. She pushes the cats off me if they are walking on my belly and she wanted to help me put on my compression socks this morning. Yesterday she was looking at the infant tub in the garage and wanted to take in the house. I figured to play with her doll but she said “take the baby out!” and pointed at my belly 😂 I’ll take any interest at this point 😂 and anyone with a toddler I highly recommend visiting your library for the kids book “there’s a house inside my mommy.” It was very age appropriate explanation.
