He sees his brother go and asks to go potty but just sits there for a minute then yells "I DID IT!" glad hes interested but not quite there yet

She wanted to start by herself back when she turned a year. She wasn't walking yet then, so it wasn't working out ok much. Now she is walking and has days that she isn't interested in the potty. Other days she will drag me to her potty or let me know she had an accident. She struggles to pull her pullups and pants down on her own. She drags her potty chair to me as well to let me know she has to go.

Our Jan ‘18 baby tells us when he poops and a couple times we’ve tried sitting him on our little potty when he’s seemed interested. But we’re not pushing. We still haven’t managed to fully train our 3.5 year old either (he knows how to use the potty he just won’t do it consistently).

He’s starting to tell us when he needs a change. He also holds it for the most part when he’s not wearing a diaper. We’ve been giving him an hour or so a day naked and put him on his training potty at the end.  He usually goes when we put him on it.

We use the phrase "diaper free".  Potty training since 12-13months old. Hes not really talking so its more of us watching his cues/knowing when he drinks and how long itll be before he needs to pee. We say we/he is diaper free. We say it this way because he does still have some accidents. We only use diapers at night. But I've noticed when i said we were potty training people expected no accidents ever, and thats not our expectation.

We started today and we are doing very well so far. Hes had about 3 accidents for pee. Hes pooped in the toilet all day today.

A few times a day my LO will sit on the potty just to get him used to the concept but we haven't started officially potty training yet.
