Exclusive Pumpers?? Any out there still?!

Hi all!
I’ve been exclusively pumping for my LO since he was born. He’s 8.5 months now and I’m struggling to hold on & keep pumping. Any other exclusive pumpers out there? 
How long are you planning to exclusively pump for?
Anyone else struggling too? 
My plan was 1 year, but that seems like an eternity away. 
Would love to hear your thoughts & how your journey is going! 😁

All I have to say is WOW, major props to you for making it this LONG! I exclusive pumped until my baby was four months old. I just dried up. I didn’t figure it out until my baby was three months old, but i have raynauds syndrome and my nipples were having spasms and my milk wouldn’t come out. When I got to the point where I was only pumping four to five ounces a day I decided it wasn’t worth it. I was so freaking stressed to be stopping but it was life changing. I got so much time back when I wasn’t spending so much time prepping, pumping, washing parts and storing milk. The formula has come so far these days. My doctor also said that past 3-5 months breastmilk has already given all of its major benefits and formula is a very close second. So, if you want to keep going I say GO FOR IT but if you want to stop try not to feel guilty. All that matters is your baby eats!

Major kudos to all the exclusive pumpers here! That is a lot of work!!! I am impressed. My nipples get angry when i add an extra pump session. 😅

I quit at 7 months. I was super sad at the time but I don't regret it at all. I have more time to be present with my daughter and am so much less stressed. I originally wanted to make a year as well but it is so hard. 
Do what is best for you. You are a rock star.

I tried but gave up around 2 or 3 months. It was so hard and exhausting, major props to you for keeping at it! :)

Only pumping part time, but wanted to give you encouragement. Pumping is NOT easy, you should be so proud for having kept it up this long 💪🏼

I’m pumping as well. I’ve been exclusively pumping since about 5-6 weeks. It is hard and takes SO much commitment.  I was telling my husband the other day that if I pumped, 4 times a day, (which is low) and for 20 minutes per time (also low) , within one year, I would spend about 19 days of my life pumping. (Nonstop) THAT’S CRAZY! I am trying to get until one year.  It does seem forever from now, but I just keep thinking how fortunate I am to have this experience to give to my daughter.  Plus formula is really expensive.  If you feel like quitting, or may be drying out, no big deal.  But if you can keep going, WAY TO GO!
