Homemade? Or jarred?

Do you guys mash up your own baby food or use jarred baby food?

I wanted to mash some sweet potato but I’m kind of scared to do it wrong 😂

We plan on making ours but our pediatrician recommended buying one jar, dumping it out just so I can get a hang of the consistency to make at

I'm making mine. Really easy and much cheaper than buying baby food. I made a month's worth of food for less than 10 dollars. I bought frozen veggies (2 pounds of peas were about 2 bucks!)I steam all the veggies in my instant pot then mix them in a blender with either water or breast milk to get the consistency right. Then I froze them in ice cube trays for later use.

I’m doing organic baby food one jar each then after I’m making my own. Just cook then blend up the sweet potatoes and let them cool

I'm currently doing it on my own. I hate it. But I've read so much about added sugar in store bought food here in Europe that I don't dare 😏

I started making mine from the beginning, he makes a face and spits it out if it isn’t watery enough for him. And he LOVES sweet potato. Steam it for about 25 mins, blend it and BAM ready to mix with breastmilk/formula/water. I have zero plans to buy premade for him at all

I make my own with my awesome blender! As long as it’s cooked & cooled down before baby eats You’re good. I agree to buy one jar or pouch to see the consistency. For the sake of getting it right.

I makes everything homemade with organic fruits and veggies so I know exactly what is going into my little ones food. I’m a stay at home mama so I can make time for this in my day/week. BUT if I was working I would just buy a high quality organic baby food.

I just use jars for now! But I’m wanting to start doing it myself! He really enjoys the jars at the moment
