Anyone having a hard time getting the 3rd nap?

My daughter is taking forever to fall asleep for this nap. It’s starting to mess with bedtime.

We don’t do formal naps for this very reason. With my first son I worried about these things and it backfired big time. Now I just let my daughter sleep when she wants to and where she wants to and the same with my son. It works for us and it isn’t stressful. I have no idea how many naps my daughter takes. Sometimes one, sometimes 5. There isn’t a one size fits all when it comes to kids.

We are doing 3 naps but depending what time she wakes up from her 2nd sometimes I have a hard time getting her down. We put her to bed between 7-730 so I like for her to be up from her last nap by 5. On an average good day she will wake around 7-730 for the day. 1st nap around 9, 2nd around 12-1, 3rd around 330-4, bedtime at 7.

We still have 4 naps and the last one was tough last week getting him to sleep. This week he gets to sleep but then sleeps forever... can’t win this month

We have 3 or 4 naps, he's a cat napper and they last about 30 minutes

I started making the 3rd nap “unofficial” and only letting it be around 20 min max, like if he’s in the stroller/car seat I’ll give him his paci around the 2 hour mark since he last woke up, or if he’s playing on the playmat I’ll give him paci and blanky for a powernap. Seems to be working so far!

For us, the 4th nap is hard!! Sometimes he has to skip that, lol. He naps around 730am, 1130, 2:30, and then fights his 4th nap I start trying to give him around 5:30 🤷‍♀️ I wind up breastfeeding him a snack around 6-7pm and he will take a cat nap then, and then at 830pm I breast feed him again and he is out like a light for the night! :)
His naps during the day are anywhere from 30 minutes to 2.5 hrs! He is a good napper :)
