3rd cycle IUI

I’m pretty bummed out our second IUI with Menopur did not work. I went in today for US and I have 6 follicles. I went home with another round of Menopur, supposed to start tonight, but I want to give me body a break. The last round of Menopur made me incredibly bloated and moody.

We are also supposed to go away this weekend to a lake house with friends and I really worry about how it will make me feel.

I’m 38 in November and have typically low levels for my age. My husband is 39, his count is fine but motility is low. The IUIs are 100% covered with my insurance but IVF is 100% out of pocket.

The doctor said I could skip cycle or continue, it didn’t mater and he’d be willing to do up to a total of 6 cycles of IUI.

What would you do? Plow forward? Or take the month off.
