How many people are still breastfeeding?

My daughter is 7 months old and I had a serious drop in my supply when I got my first pp period at 6 months. I’m nursing in the morning when she wakes up and pumping throughout the day to give her a breast milk bottle before bed. The rest of her feeds are formula. I’m feeling guilty about giving up pumping but I feel like it’s not worth it to pump 3x a day to make one evening bottle. Is it selfish for me to want to give it up?

I voted yes because I only work 2 days a week but recently I too had a drop in supply and lately pumping doesnt seem worth what I get. So i breast feed when he's with me and he gets formula while I'm at work. Don't feel bad or let anyone make you feel bad! Do what's best for you and your family.  And you made it 7.5 months! That's something to be proud of!

We’re still nursing and honestly I will continue for as long as she will let me. I read this article on Medela website about a dip in milk supply at 6 months... it’s totally normal!

I actually had started purée prepping bc I was worried about my supply. (This was before I researched BLW so I stopped and went back to EBF after 3 attempts to introduce purées). I think my dip was in line with the second reason mentioned in the article, due to hormone changes pp. It was soooo nice to have a reason and not just feel like I wasn’t providing enough. I also should mention that I’ve only pumped 3 times since having her. I save my excess from each feed using my Milkie’s Milksaver. I have bags of frozen milk. 
As for getting my period back pp, my first cane back about 5 months pp, my second at 6.5 months. I didn’t really notice a dip in the second but deff in the first. I started supplementing with Fenugreek Tablets 2x/day and Munchkin Milkmakers Lactation Cookies at my desire. I do my best to drink one packet of Milkflow (from Target) per day. I also have Mother’s Milk Tea by Traditional Medicinals (my fav). I periodically use or Gaia Herbs Lactation Support tea from Sprouts. For when I want a hot drink. They help a ton. Of course water intake too. 
Whatever you decide, it’s your decision and yours alone. If you decide to continue, I hope the above product suggestions can help you. If not, you don’t love your baby any less.

I had my period 2 weeks after postpartum bleeding stopped, almost exactly a month after my daughter was born. Had it semi normally (on BC patch and pills) till this past month when I got a positive hpt. Still nursing through all of it 💪🏼 plan to keep nursing as long as she needs to

I am still breastfeeding! Thankfully my period hasn’t returned yet (although I fear it may be close because I thought I felt ovulation last week). I can definitely understand where you’re coming form with wanting to phase out of it though.
