Second baby, different gender... what kind of party do you have?

I have a three year old girl, pregnant with a boy. MIL wants to throw a small party, should it be before or after baby is born?

I did a sprinkle! Not as many gifts and not as many people. But really nice to get everyone together.

We're doing a babyQ got baby #2, it's this weekend. Just invited close cousins, siblings, and our friends. It's more of a diaper party feel, I put where we're registered on invite and put a raffle ticket if they bring diapers. Every baby deserves to be celebrated!
 I personally wouldn't want to have to get dolled up for a sip and see or have that many people around my baby until he has his shots.

Same boat, we are just doing a big party at our house - no presents - just to see everyone before the baby gets here and celebrate him a little bit.
