Best diapers and wipes?

Question 2 of the night... what are your favorite diapers and wipes? I want to put them on my baby registry but have no idea what is good and what isn’t. First time mom clearly 😆

Honestly I use whatever, as long as it doesn't leave a rash or leak

I like pampers pure diapers and cloud island wipes. The cloud island diapers leak so bad for us.

My hospital asked that parents don’t bring wipes to hospital and only use cotton wool and water... with the exception of water wipes as they’re just as gentle on their skin.  I’ve only used those so far (baby is 3 weeks old) and they’re good but oh so expensive!! I bought enough packs to last the first month to month and a half and when they run out I’ll be switching to Johnson’s cotton touch wipes so I hope they’re good!! I use pampers nappies and they have been good but I’ve also heard good reviews about Aldi little angel so might give those a go too.

Depends on the baby. For my first we did a diaper raffle and let people bring whatever brand and size they wanted. Then we got a to try a variety of brands to see which worked best for him. Pampers worked well as did huggies but some of the other brands leaked and I think the Walmart brand stuck horribly to his skin and left a rash. Eventually we stuck with Costco brand (which us actually made by huggies) and they worked wonderfully.
No diaper raffle for baby two, but were planning on trying the Costco brand again right up front. If those dont work, we will just do trial and error lol.

My moms coworker raves about Amazon brand Mama Bear. Its got great reviews and they are pretty cheap so we're going to give those a shot. They have wipes too. My sister in law only used pampers so thats plan B for us.

Thanks everyone! I went for a variety of brands on my registry and I guess we will just see what he can use. Can you exchange diapers and wipes that are unopened if I find one brand works better than others?

I do Water Wipes when I’m not doing cloth wipes with water. They are the wettest and cleanest for the skin. Definitely the priciest but I find them important. 
We do Luvs, the Ultra not Triple Leakguards. They are cheaper but we never experience leaks. However we cloth diaper so this is what we go for when we actually do and they don’t irritate my son’s skin like Pampers Swaddlers.

My baby didn’t do well in target brand or pampers. So we use huggies, and huggies wipes or Costco wipes.

It's a preference thing and also depends on each baby. Some babies have reactions to certain diapers or wipes. My baby cannot do huggies. We use the pampers swaddlers and pampers wipes.
