For those of you with children already this age: how old was your child before you felt like they’d stay next to you (and hold your hand?) in a crowded place such as an airport or theme park?

*I have a two year old and even when she holds my hand, she pulls me in various directions or let’s go if something interests her. Just curious at what age people have seen that type of behavior change and when they have trust that their kid will stick close by.
