Ok ladies so recently I’ve been asked to adopt 2 children from a family member who is now incarcerated. They would like to get them back once they’re out and stable so roughly looking at taking care of them for 2-3 yrs. I wouldn’t mind but I’m nervous about her relapsing as a drug addict. She’s done this several times over the last 20 yrs of her oldest child’s life. The 2 kids are 6 & 2. I have a 2 yr old and planning a pregnancy with my fiancé all while going to college. Again I am for adopting them but I’m worried about being stuck raising them because their parent might get incarcerated again or return to being a drug addict. What do you think?
