When was the first time you went to a gyno?

I’ve gone at least once a year since I was 12. My periods were so horrible when they first started (age 11) that I went so they could put me on BC to level them out.

I dreaded it so bad that I never went until I got pregnant. I'm super private about that kind of thing (I mean, we call them "privates" for a reason), but it really wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought. My OB was awesome and I think it's important to be comfortable with whoever you find. You can do it and it will be over before you know it. Good luck!

12. My periods were sooo bad i couldnt movr had to miss school. And my mom was a beliver of safe sex. Evenntho i was super young she taught me qbout safe sex blah blah blah. I got the iud called skyla. For people who havent had kids yet.

I never went until I was pregnant at 22. hence the reason I got pregnant lol I was too nervous and shy to go and wasn’t on birth control

13.  I was dealing with ovarian cysts and needed to get on birth control which they wouldn't give me unless I saw a gyno.  Had it not been for that, I wouldn't have gone until I was 21.

There’s good doctors and bad doctors. I had a doctor that didn’t believe my pain and was constantly making me feel so frustrated. If you don’t feel that your needs are being met, go see a different doctor please. I now have a doctor that I love and trust.
