Metformin XR & Nasuea. Help 😭

I have been taking Metformin XR 500mg. I did okay on 1 tablet. Had some stomach upset but it was bearable. Once those side effects stopped I increased to two tablets with dinner and the nausea I have every morning is unbearable. Any tips? I eat a heavy meal with it. Has anyone tried the seabands to help with this? I really don't want to decrease my dose or take anything on top of it for nausea. I'm supposed to work up for 4 tablets 😩
