Spotting 2dpo...?

Ok why in the world would I be spotting 2dpo..? I know it’s to early to be implantation, so what could it be? I’ve never had this happen before. It’s only when i wipe and it’s pinkish/red. Anyone have this happen?

Ovulation spotting. It can happen a couple days after ovulation.

Spotting during the luteal phase is very normal. It happens when estrogen drops and progesterone is picking up. It's normal for there to be a time around ovulation when you don't have enough of either hormone and you get some breakthrough bleeding. It doesn't mean anything about a potential pregnancy. The egg doesn't implant until at least six days after ovulation. Spotting during the luteal phase is so so common. And every period is different. Just because you didn't have it before, it doesn't mean anything that you do have it now.
