Plane tickets help

So I’m buying tickets online. Children under 2 or free to fly but will need to sit on somebodies lap. Anyways, so I have tickets for my husband, myself, and our 2 year old son. We have a 7 month old but I don’t know if I put 4 passengers or just 3 and then just show up to our plane with the baby? Can anyone help me out
