They’re more than just “pets” to some people. My cat and dog have been there for me when I had bad depression (funny enough cats are more lovable than people think) and I feel a bigger emotional bond with them than just “pets” - they’re deff my babies, to an extent. To me someone who considers animals just pets are the same kind of people who don’t think twice if they have to be given away.

Absolutely not! I've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and have been TTC for 2 years. My kitties might be the closest I get to having any babies which makes me love and appreciate them even more 😻

I don’t love it, but I don’t cringe over it.  I do know fur babies can be a way some people cope with infertility.  I would never make someone feel bad for calling their animals fur babies. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nope. I have kids and I still refers to my dogs as fur babies. All the ones I had when I was with my ex are gone now but they truly were what got my through that relationship alive....literally. I would have never left them behind to deal with him alone. They loved me when I didn’t even love me. Animals offer so much more than most ppl
