How loud do you have your white noise machine on for baby?

I've always set mine at a medium/pretty loud setting to drown out any background noise, and during the summer months I keep a fan on in his room as well for air circulation but it gives off some 'white' noise as well. Wondering if this is too much?
My LO sleeps great so I'm assuming it's fine - just curious to know what you mama's keep the white noise machine volume on!

I was told that the noise level in the womb is as loud as a lawnmower. So no worries about having the white noise too loud for baby. I use a white noise app on my iPhone and usually play it two clicks down from max volume. My baby loves it and sleep through any noise coming from the living room.

I just use mine when we are making a lot of work (renovating the basement). So in that case I put it level 4 (5 is the highest) if not I dont put any.

The louder the better! I’ve heard that it’s super hard to get white noise loud enough to where it would actually damage their hearing. You’d be able to hear it all over the house, lol. So the machine turned up to the loudest level helps them sleep the best! 👍🏼
