So my boyfriends mom and family want to throw me a baby shower on September 1st, my due date is September 30th. I told him if he can ask his mom to see if we could do it mid August because I will be 36 weeks on the 1st of September. I have 3 boys and I’ve never reached my 40 weeks. I had my 10 year old at 38 weeks, my 9 year old at 37 weeks and my 3 year old at 36 weeks. I don’t know how it’s going to be with this pregnancy if I will make it to the 40 weeks or not, but just to be safe I would like mid August to be safe. And he’s telling me that his mom is trying really hard, and I told him that I know and I have no problem I just want to be safe and not go in labor before or during the baby shower. I literally had my 3 year old a day after my baby shower. I don’t want his family to spend all this money if we won’t be there! I don’t know if I’m overreacting, or what. I don’t know if I should just go with it and see what happens. I told him not to say anything to his mom anymore because it sounded like an argument was about to happen. What do you ladies think about all this?
