Dear my unconceived/ unborn baby,

I want you to know that despite it taking over 20 months to conceive you, you mean everything to me. Your father and I love each other so much and all we want is to hold our love in our arms.

You will be worth every negative pregnancy test, every broken down moment on the bathroom floor, every ‘do you have children yet?’ And responding ‘we are trying.’ Every pill, injection, scar and doctor appointment.

You’re worth everything to me, to us, and I want you to know that you’re beyond wanted in our lives. I hope there is not a moment when your alive that you think that you were a mistake or an accident because I promise you, we have wanted you for years. If I ever get the chance to hold you in my arms, I promise I’ll never take our time together for granted. I’ll show you just how much I love you, how much we love you, every single day.
