Missed pill

So today is the first day of my active pills but I’m not getting my new pack until tomorrow, I normally take my pill at 6:00 pm but since I missed one do I take both at six tomorrow? Take them as soon as I get the pack? Or start over the routine and take one like normal and Friday would be my new start day? Sorry if this sounds dumb I haven’t been on the pill very long. Also is doubling up safe? That seems like a lot of hormones .
