Okay girls. PLEASE HELP ME. My husband and I've been married over a year. He's 23 and I'm 20. He's put off college to work full time to support us while I'm attending college and working part time. I have to take this semester off as I've made a few mistakes on my transfer application to another college. So I have until next year to chill and I figured might as well work full time then so I can help us both and we can save more money.

My husband ON THE OTHER HAND, completely disagrees and has been disagreeing with me getting a job and told me he just wants me to get a minimum paying job and work PART TIME while I have nothing to do when I could be working full time and making more money to help us.

I recently applied to a Tesla warehouse and got a job offer starting at $18.50/hr. I told my husband about it and he FLIPPED OUT. He went on and on about how I never listen to him and how I just proved he can't trust me with anything. Whatever I try to say all he says is 'STFU' like what am I supposed to do??! I simply want to take some load off his shoulder by earning and working as hard as he has been for us! I don't want to work a minimum paying job when a better job is available.

He tells me all the time that he "doesn't want me to work hard" but I'm hardly doing anything. He expects me to stay home all the time and cook and clean and organize our space! I'm not a person who likes to stay still. I want to move around and be useful. Not lay around while someone provides for me.

He even called me a bitch for the first time the other day because I had a different opinion on something else. I was quite taken aback and hurt because I never thought he'd say something like that. Someone tell me SOMETHING.
