Cervical ectropiom treatment

I went to see a gynaecologist yesterdah she had a look at my cervix and said it looked healthy and there was a small ectropion on it. She poked it with a cotton bud (not sure if she put anything on it, i was stressed do didn't take much in!!) And said I'd have black/grey discharge. I did have that but this morning woke up with light bleeding. Is this normal?
