Got married in an elm grove in a tree farm. We budgeted everything well and did small intimate lol.

Cake- friend made (free/gift) 
Wedding dress- vintage thrift $150
His outfit- $75
Bouquet- $45 
Marriage license- $85
Ordained "minister" - friend (free) 
Food(reception in a park)- bbq $160
Photographer- $100
We wanted to do small and intimate and not fancy it came out beautiful. We had my stepkids as our wedding party. Just close friends and family. Honestly compared to my first wedding where my ex and I spent a huge amount of money and got fancy I liked my second better and feel happier with the photos/outcome. 😂😂 I am also well aware many wouldnt be happy with such a small budget wedding but it was perfect for us 100% outdoors in a beautiful setting I got the music I wanted to walk down the aisle (grove) to and everyone loved it. Plus nothing better then your husband's/your new kids being a part of it and his bestfriend saying they'll trade off bestman to the stepson to perform the ceremony free. Or having a friend who does professional cakes ask to do yours as a gift. We were truly blessed.

$4,000 we didnt have money from family. That included the cake, dress, rental chairs, tables, decorations, renting out the park even tho it was still crashed by people taking prom photos.

My boyfriend’s cousins got married last Saturday. They spent maybe a couple hundred since it was in his aunts backyard

We spent about $6,000. That being said, that was all essentially covered by money that our family (on both sides) gave us. If we wouldn’t have had that, we most likely would have just had a courthouse wedding. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
**It was really special and beautiful and I’m incredibly thankful that we have such an awesome family that was willing to help us.**
