I came into the hospital on Wednesday for a c-section and I asked anyone visting, which was mainly close family to please not being children with them. The only young child I had visit me was my 2 year old son. My brother and his gf went on to find my request offensive and made it an attack against their kids. I wasn't trying to be offensive at all. I just know kids get bored and he has 3 of them. They're not the very best behaved eithier. They've been dealing with people not wanting their children certain places, but because like I said, they're very badly behaved and just having a surgery and being tired I rather not have dealt with it..but to get angry about I thought was stupid because people on my s.o's complied and didn't get upset at this request. So because of this they decided to not visit me at all because I guess I was "so mean". I even asked in the nicest way possible, but they take anything anyone says about their kids the wrong way when it's not even meant as. I invited them over to my place when I get released, I'll still have to deal with the kids regardless, but at least it won't be in a small hospital room. Would anyone had gotten mad at someone asking to please not take kids to the hospital? Or am I the only one not seeing the big deal?
