Has anyone else experience vaginal swelling after having their coil inserted? Had mine in since the end of June and it’s only caused issues since.

My GP doesn’t have a clue what is causing it but has advised antihistamines until my gynaecology referral appointment which might not be for a few months due to waiting times.

I literally can’t find anything about this online, and it happened immediately after the insertion.

All the swabs and tests have come back negative.
