Hes 6 weeks old today and she wants to feed him rice cereal already.

She bought some the other day and this morning she put some in a bowl and use 3 teaspoon of my milk in it then tried to feed it to him. I told her I wish she wouldn't but she did anyways.. so then I go to pour the rest of what I had pumped into a bag in a bottle and I spilt a little. The bag is a pump and seal by Medela so it has holes in the top. I told her about the holes and she process to spill probably a good oz of the milk on the counter... I had to make sure she didn't try to add cereal to the bottle...

I did try it a few days ago with him because nothing soothed him and he had barely slept at all that day and night before. Nothing I did worked, no amount of nursing nothing so I did give in and say fine. Gave him half a teaspoon in 4 oz of milk. He slept only to wake and eat.

Now she swears by it and says it won't hurt him since all her kids were eating it right from the hospital...

I'm just ticked off that she's trying to parent my child after I've told her my wishes.
