Food aversions are REAL!

C

Today, I’m 10 weeks and 6 days! 😍

Up until last night, I hadn’t thrown up, some heart burn and dry heaving, but nothing ever came up.

My husband has been very supportive since we found out we are pregnant, but last night (maybe it was just because he was hungry) he was a tad impatient.

I’ve been avoiding our favorite restaurant. Even if I think of the name I want to cry, get nauseous, start to feel overwhelmed. It’s pretty crazy. Until last night, he has been supportive and didn’t get food from that restaurant unless he went there without me. Well, last night he wanted that food, so we compromised and he drove me to Panera bread to pick up my dinner and he got his dinner from that place (that I can’t even write the name).

Well, we get home and I ate my food, while he was on the phone, then opens his container and I instantly smell it and get super nauseous. I tell him that I need to leave our room. I get to the bathroom and within minutes I’m dry heaving. I thought it would be like the last time, so I didn’t bring anything to throw up in. I’m sitting on the toilet because I’m not sure which end it will come from (sorry, tmi). Then it happens. My first time ever throwing up during this pregnancy! Part of me felt super proud because I was like, this is what everyone says happens during pregnancy. But then it wouldn’t stop... the dry heaving and the throwing up. All my dinner was now out of my system and I felt better, but it was so gross.

Needless to say my husband felt awful... and was bringing me ice and cold rags and asked if I wanted company while I was still on the toilet 😅

So to those ladies that are questioning if your food aversions are real: they are!!! Don’t feel bad ❤️
