If you have a toddler, do you get contractions when picking them up?

Every time I have to lift my 40lbs son I feel like I'm going to fall over the contractions are so strong/painful. I wish he would understand that I can't keep picking him up, but unfortunately he doesn't...

My daughters only 26 pound and I get contractions from picking her up. But I think it’s the bending over that does it because even picking small things up off the ground gives me a contraction at this point.

My son is about 33lbs and any time I pick him up I get very mild contractions. I have been trying to not pick him up as much (especially since I have lower back problems as well), but sometimes it's just so damn hard to say no. I swear my son has practiced his pouty face in the mirror

No, he’s 30lbs but carrying him is super uncomfortable and is killing my lower back. He’s too little to understand why I have cut back on carrying him.

Yes my daughter is about 30lbs and I feel a ton of pressure and sometimes contractions picking her up. I have no choice though shes only 1 and I cant say no lol she would be devastated.
