Does anyone else take Camrese LO?

I went to my gyno for a pap last month. At the appointment she asked about my periods after my tubal. Of course they are gawd awful.

Two weeks before starting my period I gain at least 4 pounds, break out terribly, get super moody, and bloat. A few days before my period I’m like Godzilla and don’t want to be bothered, it’s like I’m stuck in Uber bitch mode. 🙈 The cramps are terrible, like so bad most of the time I can move and I’m curled in a ball. I’ve tried ibuprofen, Tylenol, and a heating pad.... nothing seems to help it. The bleeding is so heavy that I fill a pad every hour for the first few hours. You can literally see the tissue on the toilet paper. These are clots, but actually tissue! It’s horrible.

After our talk she said it seems like a hormone thing and decided to put me on a 3 month pack of birth control. These are different than the ones I’ve had in the past. These are an estrogen/progesterone combo pill the last week (after the three month pack) is pure estrogen and is what causes a period. The doctor said she’s had great success with other patients.

I’m scared I’m going to blow up like a big ballon. She insists that those who gains a lot of weight doesn’t eat right or exercise daily.

This medicine is $154 so it’s not cheap. Thoughts?
