Latching issues!

My baby is only latching on to my nipple. I try to get her to latch deeper but she will pull her head back. Even when I do get a good flange latch she will spit it out and just suck my nipple. She is gaining weight fine and seems to be getting enough. I have very large breasts and nipples so that doesn't help. Ive looked up different ways to help her latch qnd nothing works. If she is eating okay is it still terrible that her latch is bad??? I bought nipple shields to see if that will help any thoughts?? FTM!
