My dear angel baby,

Hello my love. I hope Heaven is treating you well. I'm sure by now you've met your great grandma, your great uncle, my cousin, and many more family members up there with you. Every single night while your daddy is sleeping, I can't help but look up at the night sky through our bedroom window. I look for the brightest star I can find and I believe it's you smiling down at us and letting us know you're okay now. I still dream of you at night and I still cry every once in a while because I miss you.

I conceived you and daddy was so excited! We couldn't wait for that first ultrasound at 11 weeks when the doctor scheduled it. Daddy had been taking pictures of mommy's belly so we could see you growing. Daddy and I would talk to you and smile and laugh. But we weren't ever expecting the doctor to tell us at that ultrasound that you didn't have a heartbeat anymore. That was the only time we got to see you.

Daddy and I miss you so much baby. We were blessed to gain an angel, but God had different plans. He needed you more. You were taken from us much too soon baby but, you never experienced anything other than love and warmth. You never knew the hurt that this world could bring. You never knew what it meant to be cold or hungry.

Nowadays, it's easier to handle the loss. Every night I will continue to look at the stars, find the brightest one and smile because I know that's you. Daddy and I are trying again for a new baby, but don't think we love you any less. Daddy and mommy love you bunches baby!! Keep an eye on us and we'll see you when we get up to Heaven with you.
