I was opening our mail (which I always do), and found an explanation of benefits from the insurance company. Honestly, I usually throw them out, but I looked at this one because I was confused, as no one had been to the doctor recently.

It showed that on 07/11, my husband had gone to the doctor and had several tests run. It was $700 worth of pathology (before insurance). There were 4 tests run on him.

He is healthy. He never mentioned this doctor’s appointment to me.

I may be going down a rabbit hole, but I think it might be STI testing. Things have been tough since the birth of our daughter. I never would peg him as a cheater, but we haven’t had sex in a long time, and he has been bringing it up, and even mentioned wanting a mistress at one point (I thought jokingly).

He is currently visiting family out of state and forgot his phone at home. When he calls tonight I will ask about it, but I feel crazy right now.

Would you be suspicious? He is one of the most loyal people I know. 😞
