Please help!! Is my baby allergic to formula??

My daughter has been ebf until my supply tanked overnight and I supplemented for the first time with formula this morning. Now however, she has an under the arm fever of 99.2 and she is broken out. Her skin is super super red. I’m really worried. Please help! Do I go to the Er for a fever?

Fevers in newborns are usually 100.2 & beyond. I would call in but 99 isn’t a fever. My son was at yesterday at his appt and the doctor was okay with that. My one year old was allergic to formula that contain cow protein. They end up putting her on enfamil alimentum. See if that helps. Hope your baby feels better.

Anytime a newborn has a fever, I would personally take them to the doctor/ER. Especially when they’re less than 3 months old and can’t take any medicine yet.
